Description
My client requires a Senior Oracle Developer/Database Engineer/OBIEE Developer. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with great experience in PL/SQL and OBIEE to work with a company reknown for being a truly innovative market leader.
This position is for an initial 6 month contract which provides a competitive daily rate.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deliver and support Oracle database components that meet demanding business requirements.
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner and build and maintain effective relationships with clients, peers, supervisors, subordinates and global & local colleagues.
- Manage the support and development of the Webfocus IBI and Oracle OBIEE platform.
- Continually learn and apply new technologies and industry standards.
- Track and support the realization of business and system requirements through the development and test life cycle.
Skills
- 3 years PL/SQL development, Oracle, OBIEE experience - Minimum
- Webfocus IBI experience.
- ETL experience (pref informatica)
- Exposure to Data Warehouse design
- Expertise in data analysis
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building/management skills
- Proven track record of implementing industry best practices and tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high quality results.
- Experience with software delivery methods (Agile and/or Waterfall)
- SQL Scripting
