MS SQL Server DBA/Database Administrator - San Francisco - ContractA great opportunity to join a company at the forefront of the digital entertainment industry and help shape new, consumer oriented services. This is an initial 60-90 day contract starting ASAP at a rate of $60-80 per hour.
This employer supply technology, services and data which is used by billions of consumers worldwide, they are the market leader by a significant margin in their field and they are continuing to bring on board new clients and revenue streams. This is an immediate requirement for an experienced MS SQL Server Database Administrator to assist in tuning and performance activities as well as Shell Scripting for automation.
Applicants must have very strong experience of administering MS SQL Server 2012 environments along with some exposure to Oracle. Applicants will have experience in all DBA/database administration activities including back-up, recovery, replication, mirroring, automation and performance tuning. Specific experience working with very large databases would be highly beneficial.
