Market Research and Insights Executive - Quantative
The City, London.
As a Market Research Executive you will be required to support delivery of ad-hoc and continuous primary research projects as well as research based insights within the EMEA region.
The role reports directly to the EMEA Manager of Market Research & Insight who is overall responsible for the delivery of ad-hoc and continuous research programmes across EMEA.
The main aim of the research team is to empower evidence-based, strategic decision making that drives insights to action, thereby enhancing profits. This is done by employing rigorous market research solutions and embedding market insights via consultative partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders across profit centres, functions and geographies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of analysis, research reports and presentations to stakeholders.
- Contribute to developing and scoping stakeholder research requirements
- Contribute to research brief development and research agency proposal assessment where appropriate
- Manage external research agencies commissioned to conduct research on behalf of the business
- Write and develop survey questionnaires, topic guides and stimulus materials
- Conduct analysis, report writing and presenting findings
Core research skills & knowledge requirements:
- Excellent quantitative research skills including questionnaire writing, Scripting as well as data checking, results analysis, report writing and presentation
- Experience of qualitative research required and a desire to develop this further
- Background and/or hands one experience and confidence in using online survey tools/platforms for questionnaire authoring and Scripting, launching surveys, fieldwork management as well as reporting is an advantage
- Excellent numeracy and communication skills are key.
- A statistical background is an advantage
- Excellent time management and organisation skills are essential
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy when completing tasks
- A passion for financial services work and a positive, hands on, 'can do'
- Degree holder
- A second European languages would be an advantage
- Strong PC Skills in MS Office - PowerPoint and Excel are a must
