Description
Your responsibilities will include:
- providing support to the OTC Settlements Team Leader and Department Manager
- monitoring and securely maintaining all data relating to the settlement of OTC Derivatives
- liaising with Clients and Market Counterparties to resolve any settlement discrepancies
- undertaking relevant position reconciliations
- Monitoring & investigating monthly overdraft/interest claims
- ensuring that all team duties are completed accurately within internal, market and SLA deadlines and timeframes
In order to be considered you need the following:
- The settlements process is a very manual process and so you need to be experienced with Excel.
- Product knowledge of OTC Derivatives
- Hard working but personable.
- Thorough understanding of OTC Settlements processes and best practice
- Ability to calculate cashflows on vanilla and complex products
- Detailed knowledge of OTC product life cycles
