Process Analysis - Process Mapping - Process Improvement

To lead with process improvement initiatives which evaluate, standardise, document and implement improvements to business processes across all aspects of the business.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

- Support the Strategy Director to embed strategic change requirements across the breadth of the business
- Gather the appropriate information from a wide variety of areas and departments and produce deliverables related to process initiatives across the Design, Build and Operational phases of a project; the deliverables will include narrative word documents, spreadsheets and flow diagrams
- Meet and work closely with the process, service owners and users to identify opportunities, create and implement streamlined processes across the business that will ensure consistency, accountability and quality to meet internal, legislative and customer requirements and allowing for consistent metrics
- Apply process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process improvement and modernisation projects
- Initiate business process modelling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, charting and analysis of workflow and creating and assessing performance measurements
- Lead workshops, interviews and other information gathering activities specifically to derive 'as is'/current state and 'to be'/future state processes, including process flow diagrams and any other suitable materials/methodologies
- Conduct studies, ie time studies, gap analysis and process, to review effectiveness of current processes and make suggestions to improve
- Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes

Knowledge/Skills Experience:

- Ability to focus on analysis of processes with an eye for process improvement and organisation performance, efficiency, quality and compliance
- Proven Business Process Improvement and/or Business Process Re-engineering experience
- Experienced in coordinating and supporting Business Processes
- Proficient in the use of MS Office products; Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
- Must be an effective communicator
- Understanding of the Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
