Deployment Administrator JAVA
Key activities
Provide support to projects by executing specific builds and deployments (test environments); inform projects about the result of these different actions
Plan and monitor the execution of batch chains of build and deployment scripts in the test environments Investigate, identify and apply solutions in case of build or of deployment issues Maintain the chains of build and deployment scripts Maintain a view of the different application configurations which are running in the Non-Prod environment
Specific set of rules are to be followed and executed in the right sequence
Investigations to solve the issues follow rules and guidelines enacted by the team
Deployment and Configuration Management
Beneath the quality of the execution, a focus will be given to the deadline of the execution of each request
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor or equivalent by experience in IT 3 to 5 year industry experience within IT
Languages:
Dutch, French and English: speaking and writing -A good knowledge of English (spoken and written) is a must.
Skills:

Have Good Communication skills Be Structured and well-organised
As the role is a junior position, you will need to have a basic level of autonomy but a large amount of commitment and perseverance
Must have the ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment
You are customer orientated focusing on their needs Ready to deliver, in full autonomy, services outside the normal business hours (ie: evenings, week-ends)
Ability to identify priorities
Technical skills:
Must have some professional experience in JAVA integration (build and deployment)
Experience in Java development is a plus
It is beneficial if you have any academic or first professional experience with any tools used for the deployment of Java components (ANT and MAVEN scripts, HUDSON/JENKINS tools, SUBVERSION, CA Harvest)
