Wallstreet System Support Consultant; 1st and 2nd line support
Wallstreet System Support Consultant sought for a longer term contract opportunity of 11 Months based in Helsinki/Finland.
The task at hand is 1st and 2nd line support.
This includes;
- front to Back End-user support in technical and business problems (functional or non-functional)
- service coverage 24/5.5
- ensure maximal availability, stability and performance of the customer system
- system and infrastructure monitoring - Real Time & batch
- communication abroad and problem reporting
- internal issue tracking in Jira
The ideal candidate for this role, should have the following skill set;
- WallStreet System experience - preferably more than 5 years.
- Specific experience in Wallstreet FX/MM module.
- The candidate should have worked on PROIV level and know technical configuration possibilities of the system.
- Ability to handle many technical issues without involving WSS London SC (to have faster problem resolution).
- Ability to support/resolve issues from the end-users from FX/MM trading and sales, Middle Office and Back Office; ie basic FX product knowledge is needed and relevant business configuration issues as well. However, the focus is on technical side.
- Fluent Business level English language.
- Eligibility to work in Finland (EU Passport/Work permit)
The OS is Sun Solaris and DB management system is Oracle.
Connectivity runs on MQ. GUI is distributed on Citrix. We are using TOAD/SQL. Activity tracing tool is Jira.
Skills preferred in the customer system environment are:
Solaris/Oracle/PROIV/TOAD/SQL/MQ/Citrix/Jira
test environment management
GUI and server S/W and config deployments to environments
unit/system/UAT testing
