This role would be responsible for supporting a Senior SharePoint Specialist with maintaining the SharePoint environment at our customer. Activities will include day-to-day support of sites and content owners within business functions across the company, assisting with the design and build of new sites and solutions, and providing hands-on training to end-users as part of the hand-over process.

Provide advice and support for computerized solutions aimed at improving business processes and systems to meet organizational needs and also applies technical knowledge to design, build and implement effective SharePoint-based information systems.

As an engineer you will:

- design,

- setup,

- configure farms,

- follow-up technical implementations,

- check the governance & policies,

- follow-up the trends & roadmaps for the SharePoint and DRM infrastructure

As analyst you will analyse:

- the business IT request,

- the enhancement requests,

- request for customizations

- And make in cooperation with IT Operational Infrastructure and IT Factory Development team :

estimates, technical and functional design based upon business requirements

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering assigned tasks for projects in accordance with established objectives
  • Engineering of SharePoint and DRM services
    • Contributing to the delivery of IT solutions
    • Respond on requests of PM's, staff, security teams & Windows Engineering
    • Interface/Consultant between Business user - and IT -world
    • Working closely with Business Analysts, Technical Leads, Project Managers, Information Security, Global Infrastructure Services and other stakeholders you will:

- Take into account (review & apply) the functional and non-functional requirements, architectural acceptance criteria.

- Review business requirements, strategic goals and objectives, translating these into an technical delivery plan

  • Strong knowledge of the SharePoint framework - Object Model.
  • Good knowledge of DRM
  • In-depth understanding of SharePoint capabilities, including Workflows, Search, Social, Business Data Catalog, Business Connectivity Services, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • IT professional with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in Microsoft-based software, at least three of which must be designing and developing SharePoint-based solutions
  • Experience with SharePoint server installation, configuration and troubleshooting is desirable
  • Microsoft SharePoint 2013: expert
  • Microsoft DRM: expert
  • Technical IT education - background, analytical, interpersonal and organization skills required
  • Microsoft Windows & Office suite: good knowledge
  • Knowledge of Information Management, Content Management and Social & Collaboration
  • Experience with business analysis and solutions architecture
  • IP-networks Firewalls, load-balancer, proxies and Internet are known technologies
  • A good communicator - in writing and speaking - in English ( French and/or Dutch is an asset)
  • You are team player
  • Ability to work effectively in different project teams.
  • Customer service oriented, flexible and stress resistant
  • Strong customer/user orientation and ability to communicate easily and well with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels in a multicultural environment, with respect and sensitivity for diversity.

  • You can write good and complete documentation and give trainings for team of first and seconds line IT Service/Help Desk
