SAP MM Solution Architect
Job description
- Business Process Modeling - Work with business partners to understand business process needs and gather and analyze requirements
- Back Office Management - Work with Back Office SAP support team and manage them
- Solution Development - Develop and manage solutions for the main customers Purchasing, Accounting and Controlling, create specifications and manage change orders throughout their life cycle
- Testing - Generate test data and test scenarios and perform integration tests with key users and project team members
- troubleshooting - Investigate, analyze, and solve software problems; can extend standard configuration to meet specific client requirements and adhere to SAP standards/best practices
Required skills
- Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP
- Solid understanding and strong customizing skills in the SAP module MM (including variant configuration and classification), and in at least one other main modules FI, CO, SD, PM or PP
- Basic knowledge of SAP authorization management
- Basic knowledge of ABAP, ABAP-OO, SAP Interactive Forms, Smartforms and SAP-Script
Preferred skills
- Has participated in at least 1 full life cycle SAP implementation with responsibility in one of the major SAP modules
- Self-motivated, requires little direct supervision, works goal oriented, and must be a team player in a multi-national, multi-cultural environment
- ITIL Foundation certified
- Experience within the steel/stainless steel industries or mill products
- Spanish or German language skills
Travel requirements
Willing to travel nationwide, internationally and abroad
