Due to our growth plans, we are looking to bring in an experienced Executive Recruiter to join our team, on a self-employed basis only, to help us develop new business and source the best talent to meet client needs.

Candidates will ideally be degree educated; preferably with an emphasis on direct sourcing and attraction of candidates. They should also be able to clearly demonstrate in their CV a successful career in candidate recruitment and management throughout the complete business cycle.

The right candidate will have a background of hiring senior appointments, experience within Professional Services and an understanding of private, public and charity sectors.
The role is delivery focused and is about adding value when dealing with both clients and candidates. Most importantly, the successful applicant will be someone who can see the bigger picture in terms of the business.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years solid and proven experience in executive search and/or agency recruiting, ideally in the IT, financial services, health or education sectors.
  • Strong resourcing/candidate attraction skills
  • Significant experience with screening, interviewing, and managing the offer process
  • Excellent organisational and relationship skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Have own mobile working infrastructure

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working to tight deadlines and maintaining clear and open communication
  • Offering a quality service by selecting applicants through good matching and tight control
  • Using LinkedIn, social media, job boards
  • Talent mapping, booking interviews and managing expectations
  • Developing knowledge across the markets and networking through them
  • Establishing ongoing relationships with our clients in order to understand their business and recruitment needs
  • Taking responsibility for the life cycle of the recruiting process
  • Searching, screening and managing candidates
  • Arranging interviews of candidates and conducting telephone and face-to-face interviews.
  • Achieving targets and adhering to agreed work/action plans.
  • Working with us to develop proposals, provide CV's as appropriate after first level vetting, speaking to both clients and potential candidates on needs and objectives
  • Working with employers, influencing and designing effective recruitment processes
