Our client a global IT systems integrator are in need of Senior Financial Systems & Reporting for their customer in Den Hague (Netherlands). Please find the details regarding the role below.
Your position in the organization As a senior in the team you will report directly to the Manager Consolidation & Reporting.
Purpose of your job You will work with the reporting system to gather, consolidate and report financial and non-financial information for our client, including preparation of the reports, automated validation checks and supporting all users of the global reporting tools.
Your Results Main responsibilities:
? Translate complex reporting requirements into systems solutions
? Support Country Units and Corporate Center colleagues on the reporting systems
? Create reports based on global reporting requirements for both internal and external reporting (eg IFRS, Solvency II, Solvency I, Risk)
? Status update and follow up on reporting unit deliverables during quarterly closing process
? Design, plan and prepare for the quarterly and yearly closing process
? Perform a quality review on reports
? Take ownership of the processes from a reporting perspective, including preparation of the tables for the reporting units, supporting the reporting process, follow up on questions or findings and running the consolidated budget reports
? Maintain contacts with other Corporate Center departments
? Design and build automated controls and follow up on validations with reporting units to assure ongoing integrity of all automated controls
? Perform the activities compliant to internal control framework

Know-how
? Excellent reporting systems IT skills
? Bachelor degree in Accounting, ICT, Controlling, Business Administration, Economics or Financial Management
? 5-7 years work experience in an international financial environment
? Good Finance knowledge
? Proficient in English, both in writing and verbally
? Strong affinity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
? Good knowledge of consolidation & reporting
? Strong reporting skills, team worker, self-assured, good communication skills
? Accurate and detail oriented worker
? SAP BPC or HFM or Hyperion or Tagetik
