The candidate will need to have a proven track record of delivering technology solutions, familiarity with project planning, strong organization skills, and communication expertise complimented by a strong technology background. Will be involved in deployment activities as they relate to deployment support. Will coordinate activities on global scale. Role will build relationships with the rest of the world to understand issues happening during deployment. Candidate will take major issues back to testing teams.
Responsibilities
  • Incident/Defect Management & Tracking:
  • Effectively tracks, prioritizes and drives issue resolution,
  • Provide timely root cause analysis.
  • Defines and monitors the support process, facilitates resolution of support issues.
  • Develops and produces reports providing information on key metrics, by release of software
  • Contributes and participates in the weekly issue tracking calls
  • Escalates issues internally or with development partner that have potential impacts on current or future deployments of software
  • Ensure effective performance testing is included in Development.
Relationship Management:
  • Identifies and develops crucial relationships between teams within IT Solutions and its global technology and other business partners.
  • Collaborates with project team to track the project's progress against the project plan.
  • Strives to maintain an understanding of other technology and/or business initiatives outside of the current project to ensure alignment and integration where possible.
Governance Meetings:
  • Supports call coordination and facilitation of the Governance meetings.
  • Responsible for tracking action items from weekly meetings.
  • Responsible for informing key stakeholders of the prioritized Level 4 Showstoppers reviewed in the meetings.
  • Responsible for setting and communicating monthly agenda under the direction of the Senior Project Manager.
  • Responsible for coordinating the meeting materials (ie pre reads, handouts, final presentations, minutes)
SKILLS:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Customer service focused
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
  • 3+ years technology deployment experience
  • General knowledge of Windows based POS systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Able to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships
  • Should be able to work independently in a rapidly changing environment
  • Must be able to effectively communication status to various teams and all levels of management
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements definition, building systems solutions, and deployment of business requirement
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, often changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Good organizational skills; able to assemble and present information clearly
  • Balance multiple priorities successfully
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • General understanding of project management concepts
  • Need to have some flexibility around taking early morning and evening conference calls.
  • Candidates must have very strong communication, deployment, and metrics experience. Excel is the reporting tool.
