Description
I have a global client based in Nashville who needs a network security expert for the Global Service Management (GSM) function, to provide senior support to the wider Service Delivery organization in a number of specialist areas. Additional resources are needed in these areas to meet growing volumes, tighter processes and more onerous evidence requirements demanded by modern operational controls. This Associate GSM role would work within an established expert function and provide additional capacity across three main areas: Network Security, Backup, and Risk & Vulnerability Management.

The Configuration Auditor writes and executes technical configuration validation logic in tools and scripts; compiles the results and summarizes the findings.
This is a technical hands-on role - requiring detailed Scripting and logic based coding work in commercial tools such as HP Network Automation, and Scripting languages such as Perl.
TECHNICAL POINT-PERSON WITHIN GLOBAL CONFIG MGMT FUNCTION
Primary technical partner to the Configuration Manager, ensuring technical processes and capabilities support the over all objectives of CfgM.
WRITE AND MAINTAIN CONFIGURATION AUDITS
Develop a comprehensive suite of configuration audits to ensure operational configurations are tracked against standard designs
Update existing audits and manage a back-catalog of audits into Strategic/Acceptable/Obsolete categories based on technical SME guidance
Participate in Release Management activities to ensure emerging variations to CfgM practice are captured in updated audits
MAINTAIN CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT TOOLS AND REPORTS
Maintain the tools, data structure and audit logic integral to the Configuration management tools and inventories
Build and maintain the tracking tools, systems, reports and workflow processes utilized by CfgM in the execution of its routine activities
