Global Policies and Standards Manager- London
This is an excellent opportunity to join a Top Tier Bank in London as a Global Policies and Standards Manager.
The role holder will be required to:
- Supporting the successful delivery and communication of high quality policy documents
- Support the development and further enhancement of governance structures for policy document review.
- Ensure robust communication and reporting channels with key stakeholders whilst also providing appropriate related assurance to Senior Management
- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Operational Risk Framework and internal Policies and Standards.
- Enhance the processes and supporting technology for policy documents.
- Development and contribution to management information.
- Promote the cultural, behavioural and organisational changes necessary within the compliance function and the business to achieve continuous improvement
Key skills/experience:
Essential
- Demonstrated experience (7+ years) in the regulatory space of a financial services firm.
- A strong understanding of the rules and regulations relevant to either a Retail or Wholesale Business in the UK. As this is a global entity, exposure to relevant regulations outside of the UK will be beneficial.
- Experience in the development and implementation of Global Policies.
- A good knowledge and understanding of Retail or Wholesale products and services.
