Pharmaceutical Company based in Cork are seeking QC Chemists to Join there Quality Control Team.Overview
To perform analyses on time, with high quality and in accordance to cGMP regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, in process control, intermediates and finished product;
- Perform analytical techniques in the area of Chromatography (HPLC, GC, TLC), spectroscopic methods (IV, UV) and wet chemistry techniques;
- Assure the right communication channel with the production areas in order to give the best response to the requests;
- Meet all GMP requirements as well as the Safety, Environmental and Health Regulations.
Requirements
Background:
- Training in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry areas with a third Level Science Qualification and a minimum of 2-5 years equivalent work experience or a Master's or PhD degree in a Science related field and at least 3 year equivalent work experience
Competencies:
- Practical experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry in a GMP regulated laboratory environment in executing chemical, physical and chromatographic analysis;
- Technical knowledge that can support problem solving;
- Good communications skills;
- Flexibility is essential (willingness to work shift patterns as required by
business needs) - PC skills (e.g. MS Word, Excel) and proven technical ability in laboratory systems
