Overview of the role:

This large financial services institution is looking for a dedicated individual to join their Shared Services and Banking Operations department on a temporary basis for an initial 3 months (potential to be extended beyond this). Key responsibilities:

More specifically, you will join the Position Services team which is responsible for managing the timely and accurate processing of all Corporate Events which has an impact on security positions held by our clients and proprietary trading desks. The group consists of the following teams: Voluntary Corporate Actions, Dividends (including Optional Dividends), Bond Corporate Actions, Claims Utility, Global Control, Coupons (Principal & Interest) and Proxy Voting.

Key skills required:

Degree educated with a 2:1 or above
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
High regard for attention to detail, accuracy & quality
Team Player who actively promotes sharing of knowledge
Prepared to work additional hours to meet deadlines

Previous office experience would be beneficial however is not required as full training will be provided. Interested applicants should apply within.
