Description:
Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for a Infrastructure Architect for a major IT project in Belgium.

Skills & Experiences:
- Minimum 10 years in IT Infrastructure roles
- Minimum 5 years' experience as Infrastructure Architect
- Experience in IT infrastructure project management
Qualifications & Technical competencies:
- Deep knowledge of datacenter technologies: Storage (SAN, NAS), Hardware platforms, Virtualization (eg Vmware), Citrix, Windows Server, Active Directory, Unix/Linux Server
- Wintel/Linux Server infrastructure management tools
- Knowledge of storage design (different storage tiers, best practices, Backup, IOPS, )
- Deep knowledge of networking & security technologies eg Firewalls, Load Balancers, Routing, DMZ concept, VLAN's, QoS, WAN, WAN optimization.
- Good knowledge of database technologies eg Oracle, MS SQL
- Good knowledge of web services (IIS, Tomcat, Apache, Web Application Server )
- Knowledge about 3 tier application infrastructure design
- Knowledge about licensing
- Experience in ITIL v3 Service management
- Knowledge of SAP architecture
- Excellent understanding of IT market trends and innovations
- Excellent understanding of the Services management processes and IT Provider services,
- Excellent IT IS analytical skills
- Excellent organizational- and time management skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Knowledge of foreign languages (English, Dutch, French, ...)
