My Ontario based client requires a Middleware specialist for a long term contract
Required Skill Set:
Application Servers - Experience with applications Servers and virtualization using Hyper-V, Windows 2008, Windows 2012
- Experience with Load balancing methodologies & implementation (Hardware and NLB)
- Experience working with application solutions that require cross-platform integration
- Experience with PowerShell
- Experience in troubleshooting (ULS Logs, IIS logs, SQL query, SQL trace route)
Deployment of .NET Applications Experience with deployment of .NET applications into a hosting environment
- Experience with publishing applications to the Internet, Intranet
- Proven track record of end to end integration of complex solutions that cross multiple platforms
Internet & Security
Experience in:
- Advanced Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Windows Internet Name Service (WINS), TCP/IP
- TCP/IP protocols, IPv4
- DNS, split DNS, local hosts resolution
- Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) and Threat Management Gateway (TMG);
- Firewall concepts design & implementation
- IP routing
- IIS 7.0, 7.5 advanced publishing
- SSL Certificates, PKI, device certificates
- UAG publishing templates and best practices (trunks, applications)
- UAG Support Boundaries
- Address translation & Host Address Translation
System Management Software
System Management, Configuration and Monitoring with System Center 2007 and 2012 suite of products (SCVMM, SCCM, SCOM)
.NET Technologies
Experience with deployment of .net application
- Experience with development framework/technologies
Problem Solving
Strong problem solving, reasoning and trouble-shooting experience to provide advice and resolve data recovery issues in a multi-platform environment; experience conducting system monitoring and performance and data integrity in accordance with ITIL standards.
Technologies
- Background and knowledge of .NET SDC Hosting supported technologies (IIS, SQL Server, SharePoint)
