The Lowance Center for Human Immunology at Emory University is seeking applications from high-quality scientists committed to understanding immunological diseases and contributing to the development of better treatments for human autoimmune diseases. Applications are welcome from both basic scientists and physician-scientists. Academic appointments in the Department of Medicine and/or Pediatrics are available at all faculty levels depending on previous experience and funding record. Appointments in other Departments can also be entertained. Competitive salary and benefits and generous start-up packages will be provided. Well-funded investigators will be considered for endowed tenured professorships. Multiple collaborative opportunities exist within the Lowance Center and the Rheumatology Division as well as with multiple Emory Departments and Centers including the Emory Vaccine Center, the Transplant Center, the Pediatrics Center for Transplantation and Immune Diseases, the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, the Department of Pathology, the Winship Cancer Center and the Yerkes Primate Center. The Lowance Center has also close interactions with the combined Georgia Tech-Emory Biomedical Engineering Department.
