Description
The Mobile Application Architect will lead and participate in the development of mobile software solutions including activities related to analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. The Mobile Application Architect is expected to stay abreast of emerging mobile technology trends and apply this knowledge to the design and implementation of new solutions.We are looking for individuals who understand how mobile applications are designed, developed, and deployed. You will collaborate with a diverse group of infrastructure and applications architects, quality analysts, user experience experts, application designers, developers and product managers to deliver robust mobile solutions that showcase our brand.
SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
Expertise on one or more of the following computer languages: JavaScript, Java, Objective-C and/or C/C++
Understanding of Android (Google) and iOS (Apple) ecosystems as well as an understanding of the mobile application development processes.
Experience leading/managing junior developers and small projects.
Experience with and understanding of web services - REST/SOA
Experience with mobile JavaScript frameworks such PhoneGap/Cordova, Ionic, Ratchet, JQuery Mobile, Sencha Touch etc.
Experience working with HTML5/CSS3 (Bootstrap or JQuery Mobile a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with JavaScript MVC frameworks (Backbone/Angular)
Experience or familiarity with PAAS cloud services such as Azure.
Experience using Git
Understanding of Agile/Lean methodology and tools
Experience working with Objective-C (iOS) or Java (Android)
