Commodities Vendor Relationship Manager
Hatstand is a Global IT Consultancy delivering solutions to Investment Banks and the Financial Service.
We are seeking a Vendor Relationship Manager to come onboard and enter into a leading Investment Bank within their Commodities business.
You will be required to have experience in the following points:
* Managing core system vendors selected to service and support the global Commodities business
* Working with the firm's senior IT team to help plan and coordinate both short- and long-term systems and implementation with internal/external teams.
* Serving as a liaison between nontechnical business units and IT, communicating technical information and plans.
* Working alongside core IT department heads and drive the hiring of external resources for service delivery, development and application support to meet the business needs.
* Manage contracts, licensing, capacity, costs, budgets and project with external vendors.
* Formulating and defining the objectives and scope of business systems while confirming to firm-wide IT governance polices.
* Make recommendations on hardware and software procurement to support business goals and direction by keeping up to date on industry standards.
* Excellent technical background and the ability to be pragmatic with vendor selection.
