Job Title - Data Cable Technician
A leading Infrastructure company is recruiting Installation Cabling Technicians for short term contracts to carry out data centre installation work based in Dublin.
A technician should be able to interpret the job plan and scope of work as well as perform retrofits and upgrades for existing infrastructure on projects of cables with minimal support.
Candidates should have an Installation Cabling background and meet the requirements listed below.
- 1-5 years experience
- Terminate, label, test and trouble shoot optical fibre installations
- Interpretation of construction drawings
- Be able to terminate, label, test and troubleshoot copper installations
- Industry (BICSI/EIA) current certifications desired
- Own tools required.
