Patient Safety Lead, for a leading NHS Trust in the West Midlands for 6 months.Patient Safety Lead is needed in the West Midlands for NHS clients, who are looking for a passionate senior NHS individual.
An exciting opportunity to lead the Patient Safety team within the Quality and Governance department in a large NHS organisation, for an initial 6 months post based in the West Midlands.

Essential skills
Professional qualification: Master level or equivalent.
Qualification in Nursing
NHS Experience senior level or above
Experience of investigation clinical incidents.
Datix, RCA and Risk Management systems
Knowledge of patient Safety Agenda, Clinical Governance and Clinical Quality agenda.
Presentation and teaching skills.
Desirable skills
Implementation and audit of clinical guidelines.
Experience in leading a trust through CQC inspection.
You will:
You will as the Patient Safety Lead, ensure the trust meets statutory obligations and meets the frame work of the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
You will work closely with the clinical Governance and Risk team to develop and implement training programme to the Trust.
You will develop and implement Systems to provide effective Quality of patient safety.
You will be responsible for ensuring Patient Safety is embedded within the trust and provide leadership through the department. You will support the Patient Safety, Clinical Governance, Risk Management and Quality agenda
