Are you a software engineer with a natural interest in Software Development Infrastructures (SDI) and Configuration Management (CM)? Are you able to own the system software configuration throughout the whole life cycle? If you like a to be a key person in defining and creating the software development infrastructure with technical challenges, we are looking for you!
Your responsibilities
As the SDI engineer, your responsibilities include: Take ownership for the SDI activities such as setting up build and test management frameworks, managing archives in a version control system and take care of software releasing
Translate the software architecture concepts into a configuration management implementation by cooperating with project architects, test- and integration managers both in the Netherlands and in India.
Participate as the SDI expert in the development projects and maintenance activities to provide the best Software Development Infrastructure.
Define SDI improvements that enables the most effective software development processes and the highest quality of software deliverables taking into account maintenance responsibility for released products over range of 10+ years.
Your team
The interventional X-ray development organization consists of 450 people, from which 110 people work in software development. Software is developed by teams, each focusing on a specific part of the system. The SDI team supports the whole software development community with the Software Development Infrastructure that includes Software Sets, Version Control, Build and Test management frameworks and Software Releasing.
