COST ADMINISTRATOR - ASAP START - 1 month CONTRACT
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced cost administrator to join a well known engineering and construction company within their Northampton offices. This is a temporary contract with a start date of ASAP. The end date is not yet confirmed and could be a rolling contract. The successful individual will be immediately available with previous experience in the cost administration industry.
Duties:
- To own and process all assigned tasks through to invoice resolution.
- Administrative - internal administrative tasks covering time sheets, hotel & travel bookings, contacts, plant sheets, ad hoc report requests from internal departments for communications, billing, holiday admin, recording of task progress in Service Management system.
- Process supplier invoices for various services.
- Compliance checks - using a Matrix check list, monitor and progress various IS compliance items to ensure deadlines and objectives are achieved.
- Purchase orders - raising orders
- Stock monitoring - monitor & report on IT equipment stock held within the department and with various suppliers.
- Obtaining proof of deliveries or credits where necessary.
- Checking invoice status before progressing with enquiry.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience within an Administrative role
- Experience of processing invoices
- Ability to produce daily/monthly reports
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good working knowledge and experience with MS Office applications (including Excel, Word, Visio)
