Data Business Analyst | Asset Management | 12 month initial Contract (2 year project) | London | £600pdAn interesting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Business Analyst to join a market leader in the Asset Management space, to work on a large scale greenfield programme to deliver a leading front to back data system.
The core purpose of the project is to migrate the data from the firm's existing systems and build a Security Master.
You will be required to deliver the data requirements, covering all aspects of data management and defining the new operational data maintenance process.
This leading Asset Management firm is currently undergoing a number of changes which is creating a number of interesting projects to work on. The team boasts a medium sized but 'close knit' team with plenty of opportunity for you to make an impact and drive project forward.
The ideal candidate for this role will be familiar with a wide variety of asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, ETD, OTC and FX. A good grasp of Data Warehousing concepts and knowledge of data structures including client, portfolio, index and security market data (i.e. pricing, ratings, curves, FI analytics etc). A good technical understanding of databases and SQL is also required.
Any candidates in possession of MarkitEDM (Cadis) will be viewed favourably.
This is a 12 month contract, but the project is expected to run for 2 years.
