Position: System Engineer
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Job Description:
We are looking for a enthousiastic system engineer who is able to work in a complex and dynamic environment. The team provides support to a number of DevOps teams and manages the hosting for several high volume websites.
Required Experience
- Minimum of three year work experience in system engineering roles in a hosting environment.
- Must be able to perform in a dynamic organisation with a large number of stakeholders.
- RHCSA or equivalently certified.
- Good command of the English language.
Working knowledge with the following tools and components is preferred:
- Puppet,
- PowerDNS
- ApacheVMWare
- Memcached, Varnish/Nginx
- Databases (MySQL)
- Cisco and Dell Hardware
- Storage
- Domain Registrations/SSL
- Networking (DNS, Routing, Switching, VPN, Firewall)
- Attlassian Suite of tools.
