I am currently recruiting for a Communication Manager for a leading Retail Bank. I have outlined the role details below.
Role: Communication Manager
Rate: Up to £350p/d
Location: Northampton
Contract Length: Until March 2016 initially
To provide communications support.
To own the customer communication strategy - to ensure appropriate marketing of messages and materials, through all channels and to ensure alignment with overall customer communications plan
The Communication Manager will:
*Develop and execute creative and effective communications in multiple channels including emails, posters, newsletter, Intranets, conferences and events.
*Work in partnership with marketing to agree appropriate formats and channels for the development of customer facing material.
*Own the external communication strategy - to ensure appropriate marketing of messages and materials eg through all channels including on-line, brochures.
*Review and monitor the effectiveness of communications with an objective of continuous improvement.
*Draft content for internal newsletters, Intranet sites, presentations as required.
Experience for the Communication Manager role:
*The role holder will need experience working within a change communications role and have a good knowledge of the end to end project communications life cycle.
*Will have a good understanding of marketing communications.
*Experience of financial services and/or payments preferred.
*Be flexible and adaptable; be able to work in ambiguous situations.
Skills:
*Strong oral and written communication skills.
*Confident working with senior leaders.
*Ability to think strategically and 'join the dots'.
