Job Description:

  • Is involved in pre-deployment presentations and workshops, clinical work flow analysis and design, establishing best practice implementation processes, on-site training and consultation, and performing project management duties.
  • Works with Physician leaders, Nurse managers, and other staff with the goal of developing Vocera solutions that produce workflow improvements, support the end user and maximize the benefits of the product.
  • Performs Vocera system administration duties after system is implemented.
  • Acts as first level support for technical issues with Vocera.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Lead clinical workflow design sessions at project sites, gathering data and working with the client's clinical staff in developing new processes and workflow improvements
  • Assist with training of nurse call and patient alarm integration
  • Manage, coordinate and deliver clinical/system training for business partners
  • Effectively communicate project status to team members and stakeholders in a timely, consistent, and clear manner
  • Use clinical knowledge and understanding of clinical workflow design/redesign to propose Vocera solutions that improve and optimize client's workflow and processes

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Health care experience, working in hospital setting preferred
  • Experience with Vocera Application support/administration preferred
  • Interest and desire in using technology to improve healthcare practices and productivity
  • Experience and demonstrated success in clinical workflow analysis or process redesign
  • Experience managing projects including documenting system requirements, creating and maintaining project plans and working with clinical units
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations, proposals, workflow designs, and training materials
  • Ability to utilize resources and problem solve independently

What I am really looking for is someone that can apply critical thinking to perform their job, not needing a checklist of exactly what to do. A hard worker that can work with little supervision and get results.
