Where does this role fit in to Version 1?
Version 1 is the first company in Ireland to achieve Oracle Platinum Partner status. We have the largest locally-based Oracle implementation and managed support services capability in the country and a depth of expertise across the Oracle stack including Database, Middleware, E-business Suite and Business Intelligence.
Tell me about the role - what will I be doing on a daily basis?
Version 1 has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Audit & Reconciliation Dev Lead within Version 1's growing Oracle E-business practice.
You will have responsibility for the successful delivery of the Audit & Reconciliation process from a Business perspective.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with business users to validate the data migration
- Preparation of reconciliation reports
- Achieve sign-off of the migration with the business team
- Validation of the migrated data with the technical team
- Resolution of data issues
The role is a mix of hands on technical skills as well as experience in engaging with business users to resolve issues.
- Includes delivery of the entire data migration process - from analysis of existing data, cleansing, validation, translation tables, conversions and subsequent upload into the new platform.
- Includes testing of the Data migration solution in dedicated data conversion environments prior to providing data into SIT and subsequent project phases to go-live.
- Design of a performant data migration solution that fits within the Production Cutover plan.
- Overall responsibility for analysis, identification and resolution of data exchange issues.
- Advises customer on data accuracy
What skills do I need to succeed in this job?
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in PL/SQL, coupled with extensive experience in E-business Data Migration
Minimum of 6+ years E-business experience plus Data Migration experience
- eBusiness Financials knowledge
- Strong technical skills essential - PL/SQL, Discoverer, OBIA, Forms/Reports, etc
- Strong Planning and Management skills
- Excellent communication skills
