An exciting opportunity has arisen in Healthcare management.

My client is an NHS organisation in the South East of England who are looking for an Interim 8a Service Manager for a Forensic Learning Disability service.

The role will require you;

- To manage and provide strategic leadership to ward managers and the multi-disciplinary team (MDT)

- To provide operational management to the services in the Forensic Learning Disability pathway.

- To work with the ward managers and MDT to ensure services meet best practice, regulatory and clinical standards and are well governed.

- To foster a culture of transparency, safety and compassion within services. To role model compassionate leadership.

- To be responsible for the management of a designated clinical environment, allocating and providing sufficient resources, and developing opportunities to deliver person centred nursing care, involving service users and carers.

- To manage the recruitment and deployment of people in an area of work.

- To be responsible for the identification of learning and development needs; to plan how these will be met and evaluate the effectiveness for learners and impact on care.

The successful candidate will have:

- Professional registration - RNLD, RNM, OT or Social Worker

- Supervising and assessing in the workplace (OLD ENB 998)

- Experience in Learning Disability or forensic Healthcare setting or an extensive background in NHS Mental Health

- Experience In Health care management at an 8a level or above.
