We are looking for an experienced Situational Awareness Specialistfor our customer, that would be engaged in a large project of high significance located in United Arab Emirates.

Main task and responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the mission of tracking trends in tactical incident reporting to coalesce a broader combined operational picture and advise a mitigation calibration in order to counter the threat
  • Conduct cyber incident trend analysis to provide a situational awareness of the threats faced by the network
  • Maintain situational awareness of cyber activity in the Information Technology (IT) by reviewing open source reporting for new vulnerabilities, malware, or other threats that have the potential to impact the internal cyber security
  • Coordinate with other cyber elements to obtain information for slides, briefings, presentations, or other situational awareness products
  • Produce statistics-based status update and various other types of reports

Skills and requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in network and vulnerability analysis (position of senior analyst)
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of network security management and operations
  • Demonstrated ability to document processes
  • Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships at all levels organizations
  • Prior SOC/CSOC/CIRT experience is highly desired
