Software Architect - 3D Model/Rendering/Defence - Southampton - Rate up to £450.00Software Architect to work for a reputable defence organisation in Southampton. As the Software Architect you will be responsible for technology selection, design and delivery of details 3D modelling solutions. This is an initial 4-12 week contract.
This role will require:
- An experienced software architect with a background in delivering quality 3D modelling solutions.
- A hands-on design and development expert of detailed 3D models.
- Extensive understanding of scene generation and rendering.
- Interfacing between technical and non-technical staff.
- Design of similar virtual scenes ie. Online Role Playing Games/MMORPG.
- Knowledge of FGPA, GPU and CPU based solutions or use of TMAP.
- Experience within the defence/electronic warfare sector desirable.
- A professional qualification in Physics/Engineering desirable.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
