Experience:
-
Operational Experience dealing with Data and migration related issues for within large scale SAP projects ideally in the Chemical/Industrial areas
-
Experience through full SAP application development life cycle and specifically with large, complex Data Conversion/migration projects in a deployment oriented implementation approach (eg. vs. Big Bang).
-
Experience in International SAP Projects
-
Good experience of SAP modules and their related master data with more focus on Supply Chain related modules (SD,MM, PM, SCM, TM, APO, etc., but also including FICO integration).

Good experience with SAP Data migration tools (eg. Winshuttle, LSMW, ABAP, etc.)

Strong communication skills since much interaction with senior management/project teams/stakeholders

Proactive and able to deal with intense development and testing periods and able to keep a cool head when things go wrong, reacting accordingly with corrective actions

Fluent in English (Spoken & Written)

Experience working together with System integrators

Can follow and implement methods, procedures and directives provided by SAP Program Office & AMS teams

Willing for travel - if required

Tasks for the Data Migration & Conversion Manager:
-
Support the choosen System Integrator with definition, implementation and development of the Data Migration & Conversion strategy, per deployment site/location.
-
Managing the testing of data migration programs/tools, including dry run/mock conversions in support of the deployement schedule.

Support Testing & Training teams to determine & support their master data needs
-
Interacting with functional team and technical team to understand schedule dependencies, resolve cross-team issues, and ensure data related milestones are met.
-
Interacting with business and external contacts (eg Legacy application users and leads) to identify/understand external activities/requirements and support as required during integration and interface testing.

Together with Tech. Arch team - making sure that master data, Migration, and conversion related requiremetns are accommodated for before testing starts.

Establish data migration/conversion standards & metrics are in place to track the progress of all data related components throughout the life cycle of the build and test phases, in advance of Pilot deployment and subsequent rollout across Europe.

Ensuring sign-off on all data migration/conversion related plan deliverables
-
Providing regular status reports to IT Project Manager/PMO

Creation of data migration/conversion testing plans
-
Coordination of testing relate to data migration/conversion (in conjunction with the project Test manager)

Coordination of data related conversion/migration test execution
Tools Experience:
-
SAP LSMW, ABAP, Winshuttle, and similar tools
-
SOLMAN experience desirable
-
SharePoint 2013
-
Good experience with MS Office, especially Excel/PowerPoint for creation of status reports
