My client is a Government body seeking an experienced contract/supplier manager to come in and manage what is a key relationship for the organisation.
Key accountabilities:
- proactively manage the relationship with the supplier, including sub-contractors
- ensure the organisation itself meets its obligations within the agreement
- operating the change control procedure
- Co-ordinating the governance framework
- managing disputes
Key experience required:
- in-depth experience of supplier and contract management, including delivery by a prime and sub-contractors
- experience of working in a project environment
- experience or working in an outsourced service management environment
- public sector experience
- negotiation skills
