Technical Solution Manager (CS Core, Ericsson, TCP/IP, SIP, SIP-I and IP design knowledge)

For our Client (major Operator) we urgently need a CS Core Solution Manager to supervise the Replacement of CS Core networks in Sweden and Denmark with modern infrastructure and migrations of RAN, interconnection and customer PBX connections.

  • Modernize the CS core in Sweden and Denmark, ie change all MSC-S and MGw nodes with new HW.
  • Change the CS Core Network: Centralize the control nodes (MSC-S) to a fewer sites in Sweden.
  • Decrease the number of CS Core nodes, ie both MSC-S and MGw.
  • Secure that the CS Core (SE&DK) is IMS ready

Detailed Role Description, Responsibility & Specific Knowledge:

We need a new consultant to support us in the CS Core modernisation project SE & DE and IN migration project in Denmark.

The role will require:

  • Competence in the different mobile technologies. Functionality, system, protocols, especially for IN and related interfaces.
  • Competence in CS core layered architecture and functionality, especially Ericsson CS core competence is required and preferably knowledge in the new Blade Cluster technology.
  • IP Competence
  • Basic competence in IP-network design, security and functions
  • Competence in TCP/IP, SIP and SIP-I knowledge is a benefit.

The role will be to act as technical solution manager in the CS core modernisation project. This includes close cooperation with the Vendor for securing deliveries (documentation and equipment) and also working as the main contact for the project manager, when it comes to Core related technical deliveries and time plan follow up.

The work location is in Stockholm, Sweden, the work Period is 12 months. The requested on-board date is immediately. (after Eastern)
