An urgent contract vacancy has arisen for a Stress Testing SME to join a leading Clearing House based in London. This is a contract vacancy paying £450 daily rate.
This person will be joining a priority project which will deliver portfolio margining across their OTC and Listed Interest Rates services. There is also potentially for this to be extended to their Repo service.
Due to recent capital and collateral pressures, this is a high profile project which urgently requires someone to design and develop a robust stress testing modelling process in order to define their default fund size. This will also include assessing the suitability of scenarios from both a practical and quantitative aspect. You will be joining a team who responsibility is to develop risk models to ensure margin is held. This role also involves extensive liaison with various internal risk management teams and other external groups on a regular basis.
Our client is looking for someone with the following experience:
- Risk Management experience in a Financial Services environment, including knowledge of the full product life cycle
- Strong understanding of Interest Rate derivatives, ideally Swaps
- Hands on experience of developing quantitative models, pricing models, or quantitative analytics.
- Strong programming capability, ideally Excel, VBA or R.
- Degree (or equivalent) in a Quantitative subject
- Strong stakeholder management
- Knowledge of Clearing/CCPs would be ideal
