Software tester required for global retail organisation.
Objectives:
The primary objective of this role is to perform test of in-house developed software. The focus will be on unit testing and integration testing between software modules. This will be a hands on' role requiring excellent technical skills in order to be a sound dialog partner for the development team.
Responsibilities:
Track the quality of work being performed by design and development disciplines
Derive test cases and acceptance criteria from use cases
Conduct QAT quality assurance tests
Review the quality of technical project documentation
Coordinate UAT user acceptance tests for sprints
Qualification/Requirements:
Min. 3 years of experience with quality management and software testing
Knowledge of P/L SQL and necessary Oracle database fundamentals to execute queries and interact with relational data.
Ability to read, troubleshoot, and debug software in at least one modern programming language such as C++, Java, C#, Perl
Experience with testing methodologies for web-based software, including latency and load testing
Test automation experience beyond WYSIWYG tools, ability to create and maintain automated functional tests (script writing, scheduling, frameworks, harnesses)
Ideally had some exposure to tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Specflow, Xunit (Test case creation and automation)
English is the corporate language; additionally Dutch, German or French would be nice but are not essential
