EPIC PROJECT MANAGER
Duration: 9-month contract (W2)

Client: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers
Travel: may require a little driving
Essential Functions:
- Design, build and maintain an instructionally sound master training environment for all of the ClaimsConnect applications deployed in the regions
- Serve as an Epic product subject matter expert and lead data builders for the initial master training environment build
- Build understanding, agreement and policy on the build and maintenance of the master training environment
- Plan, design, develop and maintain Training Environments Architecture
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders
- Create, assign and maintain User access
- Troubleshoot issues in Training Environments
- Act as a primary liaison with other groups
- Work with SDI, Epic TS to support Training Environments
- Schedule version upgrades and refreshes Training Environment
- Provide technical support to training Analyst Consultants, Project Managers, IT Analyst Consultants
- Participate on special projects that are related to Training Environment
- Plan and conduct project kickoff meetings, define project scope, facilitate technical/operational requirements identification, develop detailed project plans, project budget and establish a framework for the management of on-going project activities
- Document issues, action items, user requirements, or deliverables from project meetings
- Update project schedules and plans, project communications, budget tracking, etc.
- Assess and manage risks and drive mitigation activities
- Identify opportunities for business or process improvement and make recommendations as appropriate
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience with dedicated project management using industry standard project management tools and techniques
- Microsoft Project - project plan creation and maintenance and conceptualization of project components and deliverables
- Ability to facilitate project planning meetings to articulate project components and deliverables with high level audiences
- Expert knowledge of information technology and applications
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience with HealthConnect applications and training environments
- Experience with HealthConnect deployment methodologies
- Epic product certification
