Lead Scrum Master required for Software Project Delivery - Global Web Technology Company - Dublin

This organisation is a leading global web technology organisation with locations across all major capital cities globally. They currently require a Lead Scrum Master to drive delivery on business critical technology projects, liaising closely with the overall Programme Manager across a multitude of high profile projects.

You will own and drive the continuous releases of the organisations applications from a project perspective, leading Agile work processes.

Your Role:

  • You will lead multiple technology projects, working closely with teams from requirement gathering stage through to successful deployment of software to end users/clients.
  • You will drive and manage the scrum ceremonies using an Agile approach at each stage of the SDLC
  • You will take ownership of the successful delivery of major application releases through the development of sprint plans, leading estimation plans, iterations etc. across numerous team/business units.
  • You will work closely with project teams to set up processes for identification and management of project issues from the offset, lead identification and management of key risks on projects and work with teams to deliver resolution on all problem areas.
  • You will manage relationships with key software delivery vendors, designers, product developers, testers and key stakeholders across multiple business units

You Skills:

  • You will have at least 2 years' experience as a Scrum Master with a highly successful track record of delivery
  • You will have at least 4-5 years' experience in software development, ideally Microsoft or Java
  • You will have successfully facilitated sprints, managed delivery of multiple projects in an Agile environment, and successfully managed the early identification of issues and risks within the project life cycle
  • You will be very comfortable working across various delivery teams from analysis, design, product development, software development and testing
  • You will have outstanding organisational and leadership qualities and have the ability to drive teams successfully using Scrum methodology

This is a long term contract with excellent opportunity for extension or move to permanency.
