Contract Systems Accountant, Unum

About The Role:
The purpose of this role is to be part of the team working on a new General Ledger Systems Implementation and assisting in basic accounting processes including month end reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for; assisting in the design and implementation of the General Ledger system, revising the current financial reporting processes and recognising areas for improvement.

So what are we looking for?
Applicants for this Systems Accountant role must be; a part qualified or newly qualified accountant with 3-5 years experience of financial accounting, have exposure to finance systems change and ideally have assisted in implementation projects, possess strong analytical and IT skills and have the capability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
