Manufacturing Engineer
  • Provide Manufacturing Engineering support and troubleshooting for current facility operations.
  • This role will analyze and implement production build improvement initiatives, product engineering changes, Lean Manufacturing improvements, personnel balances, and all special projects.
  • Investigate, gather, and analyze data for identifying root cause and implement solutions for manufacturing issues in the departments of responsibility.
  • Innovate and implement cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas for manufacturing operations in departments.
  • Lead implementation of all new manufacturing processes and technologies in departments.
  • Plan and establish manufacturing techniques, processes, and methods for the production of new or modified products or parts
  • Plans equipment utilization and justifications, product cost-estimating, manufacturing routings, conducts work measurements and establishes production standards, and improves material flow, methods, and workplace layouts.
  • Lead cycle time and productivity improvement activities for departments.
  • Work through the entire Value Stream.
  • Lead Kaizen and 5S events.

SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS
  • 1 - 2 previous jobs for experience, up to 5 years of job experience.
  • A minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience in a manufacturing role
  • The ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) to employees, peers, management, and customers at all levels.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to problem solve and lead continuous improvement efforts
  • Strong equipment, product and process knowledge preferred
  • Metal fabrication experience preferred, including but not limited to: Robotic/Manual welding, brake press forming, Laser/punch cutting, spot/stud welding, powder/liquid painting, and assembly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering/Technology or Industrial Engineering/Technology technical field preferred.
