Job Summary:
Provide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support through inventory analysis, data analysis, and related performance measures that support strategic operational goals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain and update Expedite and Backlog report spreadsheets; which includes resolving various discrepancies such as shortages, overages and pricing.
Perform inventory analysis and propose corrective actions, which support strategic operational initiatives. For example, monitor set up of new and established products, and make decision of whether or not product requires continual maintenance for replenishment of inventory or whether the product becomes non-stock status.
Analyze excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory and recommend financial reserve levels.
Process Pricing & Availability (P&A) requests for established six-digit part numbers as applicable. Serve as liaison among vendors.
Analyze backlog and shipment trends.
Perform supply/demand analysis in support of customer demand service levels, revenue plans, inventory levels and lead-time expectations.
Analyze operating inventory levels and turns across all products, as needed.
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, metrics, and material control systems as required.
Support ERP system implementations and reports requests in coordination with Purchasing and Product Management.
Develop, establish and document Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/business processes to support software upgrades, module implementations and enhanced functionality as it relates to supply chain-planning modules where applicable
Support demand management as needed.
Manage data integrity, mining and clean up of assigned products.
Participate in Return Material Authorization (RMA)/Match Exceptions approvals & negotiations. Contact vendors for return information and provide information in system for management approval as applicable.
Perform other duties as required.

SKILLS:

Required Skills:
Expert knowledge of Tier 1 ERP and manufacturing processes highly desired.
Proficient computer program and systems (Excel and Access).
Ability to generate reports, using ERP (PeopleSoft) and advance Excel techniques and tools, to allow clear and concise data analysis; including demonstrated application of pivot tables, conditional formatting & VLOOKUPS functions.
Ability to compile, summarize and communicate data and information to Senior Management.
Able to coordinate and manage many varied responsibilities and proactively solve problems. Must be able to demonstrate technical leadership and show initiative.
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

Required Experience:
BS Degree or equivalent.
Five years in supply chain management or material operations.
Telecommunications product knowledge is preferred.
APICS certification preferred.
