Responsibilities
- Study current MS-SQL environments.
- Conceptualize and propose new architectures for consolidation of MS-SQL set ups with considerations on scalability, availability, risk control, performance, operational efficiency and monitoring.
- Define standards, processes and guidelines on MS-SQL co-hosting.
- Formulate and set up charging model.
- Set up POC environment.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge and working experience of MS-SQL and its related technologies such MS-SQL clustering, mirroring, logshipping, transaction replication, etc.
- Experience and knowledgeable of cloud technology for database.
- Successfully completed at least 1 project in database consolidation into cloud, ie DaaS from feasibility study to implementation.
