Description
Core Java Developer with C++ experience is required to join a team covering key Vendor and in-house developed
Settlement platforms and associated systems. As a member of an application development team, covering key Vendor and in-house developed Settlement platforms and associated systems;
Key Skills:
- Carry out enhancements on a project basis to the platforms under management
- Assisting in the design functional enhancements to existing applications and software
- Developing these enhancements
- Responding to and fixing issues found during testing
- Assisting and supporting the promotion of enhancements into the production environment
- Production of Technical Specification Documents
- Project Implementation Support
- May require out of hours/weekend work on occasion to support the projects
- C, C++ and Java knowledge particularly in relation to inter-system gateways handling transaction data.
- Sybase ASE required, Sybase IQ and Oracle
- Unix Shell & Perl Scripting
- Use of Clearcase/Subversion
