Are you an experienced Operational Risk Consultant? Do you have experience of working in financial services?
Our client, a large financial services organisation, is looking to recruit an Operational Risk Consultant to ensure they fully understand the current and future risk exposures and have effective processes, controls and policies in place in relation to payments, collections and product applications.
You will lead and facilitate the completion of operational risk assessments ensuring risks are identified, understood and acted upon. Working closely with the business alongside first line key control functions you will assess the effectiveness of controls in place and where risks are outside of appetite, suggest, implement and monitor improvements to ensure risks are being managed effectively.
To be considered for the role you will have previously worked in a similar capacity and have;
- Operational Risk and Regulatory experience in relation to payments, collections and product applications
- Financial Services experience, ideally retail banking
- A solutions focussed approach
- Previous policy and process review experience
- The knowledge and experience from previous roles to challenge existing practices from both a customer and business risk perspective
- Excellent Relationship and Stakeholder Management skills
For the right candidate this opportunity may offer a permanent position following the completion of an initial contract period.
Location - Manchester
Duration - 3 months initially
Rate - up to £550 per day
