We are a very small startup Podcasting Network based in Los Angeles, you be based here too. Currently we have two audio shows in production, but will be expanding to many more including video over time.We are looking for an assistant for our WordPress web designer/master. You MUST know WordPress well enough to do the tasks given to you without having to be trained. There will be room for advancement.
- This is a part time freelance gig with flexible hours.
- We would like someone approximately 10 hours a week, but as we grow, we will to add hours.
- You will be working from home, but with occasional meetings with our small staff.
- At first there may be breaks between assignments.
- But there should be enough to keep you busy for 10 hours or so a week.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Making relevant posts on our website, Facebook and Twitter, etc. with oversight.
- Uploading podcasts to iTunes and other podcasting platforms and doing whatever else our webmaster needs that further the development of the network.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficient writing skills as you will be proofreading copy and possibly writing it as well eventually.
- Deep understanding of WordPress backend. Photoshop, Google docs.
- Reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of SEO.
