Audio Visual Technician/Trainer/12 Month contract/May start/IR35/Market rate

My public sector client is looking for a audio visual technician for a 12 month contract based in Edinburgh. The predicted start date for this role is 22nd of May so candidates available by this date will be favoured. This role is working for one of our public sector clients so the role falls in IR35.

You will be working closely with members on the client as part of their new roll out IT service which will record, manage and playback hundreds of recordings from multiple locations for their users. You should be a highly competent user of computers and technologies and able to support users in this.

You will be required to:

- Support user
- Design and deliver training resources for users
- Deliver in house training
- Write and publish web content and communications

Key skills and experience:

- A demonstrable talent for designing engaging, customer-focussed training, resources and supporting materials.
- A recognised qualification or certification in teaching or training.
- Experience of delivering face-to-face training and resources at scale.
- Evidence of excellent written and verbal presentation skills and design of training materials, handbooks, etc. 
- Highly competent user of computers and technology with sympathy and empathy for those who are not.
- Experience of service management and improvement in the context of an HR or training function.
