Description

For our global pharmaceutical client we are currently looking for SAP BW Developer / Consultant to work in Switzerland.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Carrying out analytical activities and all software development tasks associated with the migration of the SAP BW WebTemplates from 3.x to 7.x
• SAP BW WAD Web Templates 3.x developing skill and business analysis as main requirements
• Understand requirements from existing Web Template (3.x), upgrade to 7.x and transport the new objects to new platform
• Apply new 7.x functionality that was implemented using .js in 3.x where this functionality was it available at initial implementation time
• Identify and migrate DSOs and queries necessary for the Web Template objects to work
• Perform unit testing on the developed components (like for like) – existing (3.x) functionality and results must be replicated in new objects (7.x)

Skills we looking for:

• Very good knowledge of Web Templates experience with 3.x and 7.x
– SAP BW7.4 based on HANA
– SAP Portal Integration with BW
– WAD Web Templates 3.x and ideally 7.x
• Other Development Skills:
– Expertise in ABAP development for SAP BW
– Knowledge in ABAP OO development and BSP Technology
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Business Analysis
- Experience in requirement gathering and clarification
- Ability to recognize requirements whose implementation would increase the risk of system failure, increase the system complexity, cause performance loss, increase maintenance cost, impact other systems/process or decrease usability
- Ability to propose alternative requirements
- Experience in complex system landscape with regional/local exceptions
- Experience in digging into the details and verifying consistency of an apparently simple requirements that is in fact complex due to the system complexity, process diversity between regions or data quality issues.
• Unit testing experience – the developer must be able to test his own code
• Fluent English
