SAP SD Consultant - French Speaking - Guyancourt, France. Start: 1st March Month+ Contract. END CLIENT.
Our End Client in Guyancourt, France is looking for an SAP SD Business Process Analyst with good knowledge of EDI/IDOC interfaces.
This position will significantly participate the creation and support of the SAP EDI processes (design & build) and support services.
Position Description
The SAP Sales and Distribution Business Process Analyst (BPA) is responsible for the design and build of the SAP SD flows (sales, integration with EDI, outbound process, invoicing processes), and has to be able to manage and coordinate the business processes requirements during the project activities and AMS services. Must possess a strong sense of customer service to gather requirements and understand the business needs.
The SAP SD BPA is responsible for defining the Sales and Distribution process design solution, to manage from functional standpoint and test IDOC interfaces with customers, to manage our Market Place requirements for After Market division (including interfaces with logistic providers), in all the countries involved in the project scope. They should know the standard IDOC messages used (DELINS, DELFOR, DESADV, INVOIC and so on) and should be able to interact with our EDI development factory to build functional mapping docs and later on to execute test on IDOC integration and IDOC generation (it means to provide info to EDI mapping specialists and ABAP expert to put in place the best mappings).
Primary Objectives/Responsibilities
* Manage schedule, planning and deliverables for Sales and Distribution Domain (particularly for After Market business)
* Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining SAP IDOC messages and Interfaces (with our external logistic partner) integration solutions
* Interact with SAP EDI internal team resources (EDI specialist), or external partner
* Provides day to day direction to the SAP SD activity
* Identify critical data management and best practice for Sales Domain (Customers, Blanket Orders, etc.)
* Ensure existing standards are adopted and adhered to SAP template and SAP SD AMS services.
* Promotes and ensures use of appropriate techniques, methodologies and tools for SD Domain, both for SAP template project and AMS services
Essential Qualities/Skills
* Has relevant experience in Sales and Distribution processes, EDI end to end process knowledge, deep experience on Retail/SCM model of After Market business model
* Deep knowledge of SAP SD and LE modules (Sales Order Handling, Scheduling Agreement Handling, Customer Consignment Handling, Returns Order, Billing), in term of customizing, data model and end to end design solution
* Has experience working in a complex, multi-layered, multi-international organization, preferably in an industrial environment
* Has an excellent understanding of sales and distribution data management practices, principles and techniques.
* Has ability to work in cross-functional, geographically-dispersed teams
* Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills to interface with business customers on a daily basis as well as related to project work.
* Demonstrated ability to work in (virtual) teams to provide support and business solutions.
* Good presentation skills with experience on workshops to facilitate continuous improvement in the implemented design and training.
Other Requirements
* Some off shift work will be necessary to support project implementation, application changes and/or conversions that are required to be done during hours that do impact normal business operation. Typically these are scheduled at night and/or weekends.
* Travel: up to 25% - varies based on project requirements
Experience
* Mandatory good knowledge of English language both written and spoken
* Fluent in French is preferable
* 5+ years' experience SAP ERP deployment is required
* Deep Knowledge of core SAP SD Module (Customer Master Data, Pricing, Sales Order Management, Billing and Distribution Process) and SAP MM Module (integration part between SD-Distribution process and MM-WM-HU components) is required
* ABAP Programming experience is a plus.
* Billing Process Expertise (depending on several International Gaap) is required
* Sales Reporting and Sales KPI Knowledge is required
* Experience in SAP IDOC integration (with EDI and other tool) is required
* Experienced in full project life cycle SAP implementations including blueprinting, design and build, data migration, testing, end user training and post implementation support.
* Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
* Experience in Solution Manager is a plus.
